Mined in West Stafford CT, these quartz crystals are interesting to say the least!
Faces of many of the larger points look to have been etched with triangles, as if hundreds of smaller crystals came together to form one large piece and you can still see their presence. Several have a 'cactus quartz' configuration where dozens or hundreds of tiny points grow straight out from the sides of the larger points. Occasional, hollow, 'tubular' formations are to be found, also with 'cactus' points outgrowing.
Images 6 and 7show best that these are clear or milky quartz crystals, yet many have a covering layer of other mineral deposits, thus the color ranges from pale yellow to deep glowing orange and rusty-red browns. Possibly iron or hematite, some of the specimens that came in this batch (we have many more pieces then shown above) have a powder-fine layer of pyrite.
As for their energies, earthy, grounding, stabilizing yet powerful, every piece is a unique unto itself and full of personality, so much so that I will use the word 'familiar' here, as in a companion in your personal endeavors.
